This picture amuses me. I am a bridge engineer for the State of Tennessee. We werer driving down this beautiful highway, and taking in all the scenery, when suddenly we see a sigh that says, "Pavement ends 1500 ft." And what do you know 1500 ft later we were driving on a muddy dirt road filled with pot holes, and there was a road grater on my side of the road coming right at me. After 5 miles we drove out of it. It Tennessee we would never have let them get away with that.
This may be a picture of Mount Washington in New Hampshire, I am not sure. Anyway, this picture showy an abundance of fall color. Also evident in this picture is the fact thatthe scale of things in New Hampshire in much larger than in Vermont.
